Serial interface connection RS232
• Use a null modem cable (with two-sided D Sub connectors) or an appropriate null modem adapter and set
the serial communication as follows:
- 57600,n,8,1 (Baud: 57600, no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop but without handshake).
• Confirm each command by pressing the ENTER button.
a) RS232 and TCP/IP settings overview
The HMDI matrix can be controlled via RS232 with TCP/IP commands. We recommend the use of MyUART
and Hercules (TCP/IP). Certain configurations and activations can only be set with the help of the following
commands.
Care and cleaning
• This product does not contain any components that require maintenance. Never attempt to open or
disassemble it.
• The product does not require servicing except for occasional cleaning.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply and connected devices before cleaning it.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the
housing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not press too strongly on the surface, as this
may lead to scratch marks.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
If a battery is inserted, remove it and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Battery information
You are required by law to return all used batteries (Battery Directive). They must not be placed
in household waste.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal
in household waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd =
Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (indicated on the battery, e.g. below the waste bin icon on
the left).
Used batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
