2.6. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
IN CUSTOM-MADE FURNITURE/FIREPLACE
CASINGS
• All minimum distances and installation dimensions must be observed
when designing the custom-made furniture.
• The base plate of the furniture must have sufficient load-bearing capac-
ity (the ebios insert weighs 88.5 kg).
• The ebios insert must be levelled and securely screwed on to the
furniture.
• The furniture should always be permanently attached to the wall or floor
and secured against accidental moving, knocking over and/or lifting.
Suitable fastening material should be used.
• All air inlets and rear vents must be kept clear and never blocked, as
otherwise a build-up of heat may occur.
Fire hazard!
• All objects (such as door fronts) must be kept clear of the hot air flow
above the ebios air outlet.
• The surfaces of the front cover (in particular, above the insert) must be
heat-resistant to 65°C.
