Manual Mode of Operation
Note: In Lyobrary there is a presentation that explains all of the software screens and how to
operate the system.
Background
The manual mode of operation may be particularly useful in bulk product applications
where the consistency of the product is not homogenous and/or the depth of product
fill from tray to tray is irregular. This mode allows the operator to manually control the
freeze-drying cycle without forfeiting the benefits of the safety features built into the
freeze dryer.
Note: that there is no shelf temperature ramping capability in this mode of operation.
Basic Operation
From the Main Menu screen, select the Manual mode of operation.

The Manual screen will be displayed
2.
Click on the Power button. This button enables all functions in the manual

mode.
Click to change Shelf or Vacuum setpoints
