Footswitch Names
Each footswitch can be given a 3-character name that will be displayed on the LCD.
Footswitch Action
Footswitches can be individually configured as Latching, Momentary, One Shot, or Radio. Here is a
description of each mode:
Latching
When a footswitch is configured to be latching, it will toggle states (between On and Off) each time
the footswitch is pressed and corresponding On/Off MIDI messages will be sent.
Momentary
When a footswitch is configured to be momentary, it will output an On message when it is depressed,
and an Off message when it is released. Both On and Off MIDI messages will be sent for this mode
also.
One Shot
One Shot mode sends the On message only. This mode is useful when you want to send only single
messages with a footswitch.
Radio
Any of the four footswitches can be set to Radio mode within a Panel. For any switches that are
designated as Radio, they will be included in a grouped “radio” or preset mode where pressing one
footswitch will deactivate another. In this way, only one of the grouped switches is active at a given
time.
Example with footswitches 1 and 2 set to Radio mode:
User Presses footswitch 1. The ON message for footswitch 1 is sent out. Footswitch 1 LED
turns on.
