Set unit power to OFF, and turn front panel voltage control counter
clockwise away from the trip point.
Apply unit power and adjust the supply outp_ut voltage to the desired
operating level.

CAUTION
Parallel operation requires protective diodes.

CAUTION
If the DCR-B is used with an energy storage
type of load (e.g., batteries or large capacitor
or inductor banks) protective diodes must be
used in series with the negative load lead as
shown in Figures 3-8 and 3-9. This precaution
� be taken to prevent energy stored in the
external device or load being absorbed by the
OVP crowbar SC R.
Due to the limited energy
capabilities of the SCR, damage could occur to
the SC R and, perhaps, the load.
