1-1. Self-diagnosis Function
1-1-1. Self-diagnosis Function
If an error occurs in this unit, the self-diagnosis function starts working and a code consisting of one alphabet and a fourdigit number
appears on the LCD. Classification of persons in charge, classification of faulty blocks, and details of errors can be checked by
referring to this indication of five alphanumeric characters in the self-diagnosis code table.
The history of past errors can be checked in “Usage and Diag record” on the DATA tab of the Adjust Manual.
The self-diagnosis function is also described in the operation manual.

Turn power off and turn power on again. When this error
is not cleared, operate the zoom lever and check
following items.

When zooming is performed, the zoom control signal
for the lens block may be faulty.
•
When zooming is not performed, the zoom motor
drive circuit may be faulty.
Check whether this error is due to the lens or the board.
Replace the faulty lens or board.
