Labeling
You can label a track or disc while the
recorder is stopped, recording or playing.
Note that if you label a track while the
recorder is stopped, the track must be the
currently selected.

Press the jog dial.

Turn the jog dial until “EDIT”
appears in the display, and then press
the jog dial.

Turn the jog dial until “Name”
appears in the display, and then press
the jog dial.

Turn the jog dial until the following
item appears in the display, and then
press the jog dial.
The cursor flashes in the letter input
area and the track, group, or disc is
ready to be labeled.

Press VOL –.
The cursor shifts from the letter input
area to the character palette.

Select a letter using the control key
and press
N
to enter.
The selected letter appears in the
letter input area and the cursor moves
to the next input position.

and their functions are listed below.
