9. Place a check mark in Port Open and check that the communication can be performed. (Select the
name of compatible model.)

In case that the communication cannot be performed, check the connection of PC. If the problem
persists, restart the Laser Projector Service Tool software.
10. Click the Brightness Adjust tab, and then set the following two registers as follows.

13. Write down the value of LIGHT_MODE_HIGH_DUTY.
14. Set the value of LIGHT_MODE_HIGH_DUTY to 100. (In some models, the initial value is set to 100.)
15. Turn on the power of this unit.
16. Set AUTO POWER SAVING With No Input on the menu screen of this unit to OFF.
17. Set AUTO POWER SAVING With Static Signal on the menu screen of this unit to OFF.
18. Set Light Output Mode on the menu screen of this unit to High.
19. Set Constant Brightness on the menu screen of this unit to OFF.
20. Check that the value of BALLAST_DUTY_VALUE is the same as that of LAMP_MAX_DUTY of
the corresponding model.
21. Remove the check mark from the check box of the following register.

LAMP_TEMP_DUTY_CTRL_DISABLE
22. Perform the aging of this unit for more than 30 minutes.
23. Input any signal into any INPUT connector to make Picture Mode and COLOR TEMP to Brightness
Priority Mode.
24. Output the Blue solid color of the internal signal in the following procedure.
(1) Enter the service mode. (Refer to Section 2-3-1.)
(2) Change the setting in “Other” as follows.

25. Check that the laser power sensor is installed in front of the lens. (Refer to Section 2-4-2.)
