The reading speed of CD/DVD-RWs is very slow
Generally, the reading speed of a CD

DVD-RW is slower than that of a -ROM or -R. The reading speed can also vary depending on
the type of format.
The disc tray ejects even when it has been locked into place

Ensure that the disc is placed with the label side facing up.

Clean the disc and the
disc
drive lens
with an appropriate cleaner.

The disc may be scratched. Place another disc to see if that is the reason.
❑
There may be condensation in the drive. Remove the disc and leave the drive open for approximately one hour.
Remove the
battery while you wait for the condensation to disappear.
