Renaming the Bluetooth USB Device
The Bluetooth device installed on your computer has an assigned name that you may not recognize. Renaming this device
makes it easy for you to identify your computer during authentication.
To rename the Bluetooth USB device
1.
From the
Start
menu, click
Control Panel.
2.
Click
Printers and Other Hardware
, and then click
Wireless Link
.
The
Wireless Link
window appears.
3.
Click the
Hardware
tab.

4.
Select
USB Bluetooth Device
, and then click
Properties
.
The
USB Bluetooth Device Properties
window appears.
5.
Click the
Advanced
tab, and type a new name in the
Name
text box.

To see the new USB Bluetooth Device name, turn off the Bluetooth feature by moving the WIRELESS switch on
your computer to
OFF
, and then restart it by moving the WIRELESS switch to
ON
.
