Removing a Memory Stick

To remove a Memory Stick™, proceed as follows:
1
Make sure that the Memory Stick™ media access indicator (1) is off.

When the Memory Stick
TM
comes out, pull it out.
Push the Memory Stick™ media eject button (2).
3
When the button comes out, push the eject button again and remove the Memory Stick™ media.
Always remove the Memory Stick
TM
gently, or it may pop out unexpectedly.
It is recommended to remove the Memory Stick
TM
before shutting down the computer.

To prevent the possible loss of data, do not remove a Memory Stick
TM
media when the Memory Stick
TM
media access light is on. Large image files
require more time to store on a Memory Stick
TM
media, so always check the Memory Stick
TM
media access indicator and make sure that it is off before
you remove the Memory Stick
TM
media.
