Selecting the Gamma Curve
Notes
• Be sure to select the gamma curve prior to adjusting the halftone (GAMMA
item) on the COLOR ADJUST menu explained in “Adjusting the Printout” on
page 24.
• This function is effective only when using the UPC-8810 or the UPC-8817 Color
Printing Pack.

Press the MENU button.
Note
If you do not press any button for approximately 15 seconds after pressing the
MENU button, the printer is automatically reset to standby status.

Display the GAMMA ADJUST menu by pressing the

The GAMMA ADJUST menu appears.

Select
A printout of image data created by computer graphics application

programs.
A printout of image data such as human beings, scenery and so on
PHOTO
created with photographic imaging programs.
The gamma curve is fixed to PHOTO when you use printing packs other than
the UPC-8810 or the UPC-8817.

To exit from the gamma selection mode, press the MENU button again.
The printer returns to standby status.
