Playback

Turn on the power of the equipment to be used.

Insert the cassette.

Select the playback speed by pressing TAPE
SPEED.
The selected playback speed is displayed in the
display window.

Audio Playback
You can play back the sound in 2-, 12-, or 24-hour
mode.
Play back the tape at the same speed at which it was
recorded so that you can monitor the sound normally.
For audio playback in 2-hour mode
Play back the tape normally.
For audio playback in 12-hour or 24-hour
mode
Press MENU/AUDIO ON in playback mode.
“A12” or “A24” is displayed in the display window.
To turn off the sound, press MENUAUDIO ON again.
Note
Noise appears on the screen when you play back the
sound in 12- or 24-hour mode.
Playback speed
You can view the playback picture at one of the
following speeds.
For example, when a tape recorded in 24-hour mode is
played back in 2-hour mode, you can view the
playback picture at a speed 13 times faster than the
recorded one.
