(power) switch
Turns on/off the system.
The switch indicator blinks green when
the power switch is first turned on, then
remains steadily lit green. The indicator
lights orange when the system is set to
standby mode.

LAN 1 ALERT indicator
When the system is connected to LAN
via the
1 connector on the rear, this
indicator lights in yellow when packet
error (loss) or link error occurs during
communication.
This indicator is labeled LAN ALERT on
the PCS-XG77S.

LAN 2 ALERT indicator
(PCS-XG100S only)
When the system is connected to LAN
via the
2 connector on the rear, this
indicator lights in yellow when packet
error (loss) or link error occurs during
communication.

ON LINE indicator
Blinks in blue while dialing or receiving
a call, and stays lit in blue during
communication.

(USB) ports
Insert USB storage devices (not
supplied) here.
You can also connect a pen tablet (not
supplied) for annotation here.
Rear

CAMERA connector
Connect to the VIDEO OUT connector
on the HD camera unit.
When you connect the Camera cable of the
unit to peripheral device, use the supplied
cable to prevent malfunction due to
radiation noise.

HDMI IN connector (PCS-XG100S
only)
Connect to the HDMI output on the
optional second camera or video
equipment.
We recommend using Sony’s HDMI
cable.
