Registering VCMP Servers
After setting up the VCMP server, register the VCMP server information in
VC ONLINE.
This section describes how to register and edit the VCMP server information.

Login to VC ONLINE (http://[HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION
SERVER address]:8080/) using an account with administrator privileges.

Click on [Media Processor] from the [Server] menu.
The [Media Processor] screen will be displayed.

Click the [Add] button.
The [Add VCMP Server] screen will be displayed.

Enter the [VCMP Server Type], [VCMP Server Display Type], [VCMP
Server Hostname (FQDN)], and [Capacity], and then click [Add].
If you set up multiple VCMP servers, be sure to register all the VCMP
servers.

Restart the VCMP server.

Restart the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER.
The VCMP server is registered to the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION
SERVER.
Always turn on the VCMP server before the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION
SERVER.

VCMP Server ID
Depending on the system, this displays the automatically indexed
ID of the VCMP server. This cannot be modified.
VCMP Server
Type
Select whether the VCMP server is a master or slave.
VCMP Server
Display Type
Enter the name of the VCMP server.
VCMP Server
Hostname
(FQDN)
Enter the hostname of the VCMP server.
Capacity
Enter the maximum number of users that can connect to the
VCMP server.
