My Modem Cannot Establish a Connection
The modem dialing mode may be incompatible with your telephone line.
Check the dialing mode:

Open My Computer

Open the Control Panel
3
Open Modems
4
Select "COM One Platinium Card Discovery V.90"

Choose Dialing Properties
Modify the dialing property "Pulse dial" or "Tone dial" according to your telephone
line
About peripherals
I cannot use DV devices. The message "DV equipment seems to be disconnected or turned
off" appears.

Check that the DV device is turned on and that the cables are properly connected.

If you are using multiple i.LINK™ devices, the combination of the connected
devices may cause unstable operation. In this case, turn off the power to all
connected devices and disconnect unused devices. Check the connection and
then turn on the power again.
The i.LINK device, which is connected to the computer, is not recognized. Or a message
appears.
Disconnect the i.LINK device once, then connect it again.
