The unit’s settings can be configured remotely via the
network or manually via the unit’s DIP switches.
Remote settings configuration requires a server
computer connected to the network and the Network
System Manager software (not supplied). For details,
refer to the instructions for use for the Network System
Manager software.
This section describes manual settings configuration via
the unit’s DIP switches.
For details on manual configuration on the NU-IP40S,
refer to the instructions for use for the NU-IP40S.
Manual Configuration
Before operating the unit, configure settings according
to the connection environment.
If changes are made to the connection environment,
reconfigure settings according to the new environment.
Configuration flow
Notes
Disconnect the DC power cable before configuring
DIP switch manual settings.
Changes to DIP switch manual settings will be applied
the next time the unit turns on.
Removing the DIP Switch Cover
Loosen the screw securing the DIP switch cover at the
rear of the unit, and remove the DIP switch cover.
DIP switches 1 to 3 will be revealed.
