Front
SYSTEM indicator
Indicates the status of the unit.
For details, see “Indicators” (page 35).
WARNING
If the SYSTEM indicator is rapidly blinking orange, do
not touch the unit. The unit may be hot due to a cooling
malfunction caused by a fan error or blocked ventilation
holes, and touching the connectors may result in burns.
Disconnect the DC connector, and wait for the unit to
cool down sufficiently before touching it.
Rear
Equipotential grounding terminal
Use this for equipotential grounding connections.
DVI input connector
Input DVI digital signals. Analog RGB input is possible
when the supplied NUA-AA10 analog adapter is
attached. You can also use an SMF-405 signal cable (not
supplied) to enable component, VIDEO, and S VIDEO
signal support (page 31).
Note
When using the NUA-AA10 analog adapter, be sure to
secure it using its screws.
HDMI input connector (Type A)
Input HDMI signals.
Use a high-speed cable that is labeled with the
appropriate cable-type logo. (We recommend a Sony
manufactured cable.)
Note
Be sure to secure the HDMI cable as described in “Using
the Cable Clamp” (page 16).
HDMI output connector (Type A)
Output HDMI signals.
Use a high-speed cable that is labeled with the
appropriate cable-type logo. (We recommend a Sony
manufactured cable.)

RS-232C connector (9-pin D-sub)
Control device connected to this connector remotely.
For details, contact your local Sony representative.
DC IN connector
Connect the 24 V DC power cable here.
Use a Hosiden–manufactured connector to connect.

Power cable: For voltages above 60 V at max. The power
cable’s rating must be more than 2 A.
When using an AC adapter, use the AC-81MD (not
supplied) etc.
Warning on power supply devices
For the DC power supply, be sure to use the AC adapter
that is supplied or one that is recommended, or a device
that complies with IEC 60601-1 standards and is
protected by double insulation or reinforced insulation.
