Enjoying sound from a
guitar (Guitar mode)
You can listen to sound from a guitar
by connecting the guitar to the
MIC2/GUITAR jack on the unit. You
can also play the guitar and sing
along by connecting a microphone
to the MIC1 jack on the unit.
Additionally, you can change the
guitar’s sound by selecting a guitar
effect.
Use the buttons on the top panel of
the unit to perform this operation.

Press MIC/GUITAR LEVEL –
repeatedly to reduce the guitar
volume level.

Use an instrument cable (not
supplied) to connect a guitar
(not supplied) to MIC2/GUITAR
jack.

Press GUITAR repeatedly to
select the guitar effect that you
want to apply.

“CLEAN”: outputs the original
guitar sound. Recommended for
electric guitars or electro-acoustic
guitars.
•
•
“O.DRIVE”: outputs distorted
sound similar to an overdriven
guitar amplifier. Recommended
for electric guitars.
•
•
“BASS”: outputs the original guitar
sound. Recommended for bass
guitars.
The GUITAR indicator lights up.

Start playing the guitar and
adjust the guitar volume.
The guitar sound is output from the
system.
Note

If the guitar sound is distorted, reduce
the guitar volume level on your guitar
until the distorted sound disappears.
If the guitar volume level is too low,
press MIC/GUITAR LEVEL + repeatedly
to adjust the guitar volume.

While playing the guitar, you can adjust
the echo effect by pressing MIC ECHO
repeatedly.
•

Before disconnecting the guitar from
the system, press MIC/GUITAR LEVEL –
on the unit repeatedly to reduce the
guitar volume.
To turn off the Guitar mode
Press GUITAR repeatedly until
GUITAR indicator turns off.
Enjoying hands-free
calls
You can enjoy hands-free calls with
a BLUETOOTH mobile phone that
supports HFP (Hands-free Profile) or
HSP (Headset Profile).
To use this function, make sure that
a BLUETOOTH connection has been
established.
Use the buttons on the top panel of
the unit to perform this operation.
Note

Depending on the model of your
mobile phone, the operation system or
applications installed, some functions
of hands-free calling may not work
correctly.
•
•
Hands-free calling will not work if you
connect two or more BLUETOOTH
devices to the system.
