Connecting video
components
You can connect a VCR, camcorder, or video
game to the VIDEO 1 jack on the rear panel
and/or the VIDEO2 INPUT jack on the front
panel.
Connecting a VCR
Be sure to match the color of the plugs and
the connectors. To listen to the sound from
the connected VCR, press FUNCTION
repeatedly until “VIDEO 1” appears.
By connecting the audio output jacks of your
VCR to the AUDIO IN jacks using an optional
audio cable, you can enjoy video playback in
powerful stereo sound. Moreover, if you
connect the video input on the VCR to the
MD OUT jacks and VIDEO OUT (or S VIDEO
OUT) jack using the supplied video
connecting cable (or an optional S VIDEO
connecting cable), you can record the audio
and video signals from a VIDEO CD onto
video tape. Refer to the instructions included
with your VCR for details.

Note
The input signal from the VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2
INPUT jacks do not output via the S VIDEO OUT
jack.

When you connect a Sony MD deck, you can use the
