a
POWER switches
To turn the power on and off. Power units A and B back up
each other. Be sure to set all the two switches to ON.
b
POWER indicators
These light when power is supplied to the corresponding
power units. The indicators are lit in green when
operations are normal.
If a fan in a power unit stops, the corresponding indicator
will light in red.
It is not a problem that the POWER indicators may
momentarily flash when the power is turned on, nor that
one of the POWER switches is set to OFF with both the
POWER switches set to ON while the corresponding
POWER indicator may still be lit in red.
If you set either the POWER switch to OFF when both the
POWER switches are set to ON and soon set it to ON
again, the POWER indicator for the power unit whose
POWER switch is set to OFF and ON again may remain lit
in red. In such a case, set the POWER switch for the power
unit whose POWER indicator is lit in red to OFF, wait for
about 20 seconds until the indicator goes out, then set that
POWER switch to ON again.
If you wish to set the POWER switch or breaker to OFF
after setting all the POWER switches to ON, wait for more
than 20 seconds before setting it to OFF.
c
Display window
Shows the current status of the unit.
For details on errors, see “Status Indications” on page 63.
d
Status indicators
These indicate the status of the unit by the color of the
indicators and whether they are lit. The indicators are off
or lit in green when the power is on and operations are
normal. When an error occurs, the indicators light in red.
For details on errors, see “Error Indications and
Countermeasures” on page 65.
e
