SECTION 3

SET-UP ADJUSTMENTS

3-1. ATTACHING THE LENS

1.

Attach the lens to the optical unit.

Press the stopper at the lens side to the stopper at the

optical unit side and attach the lens with the 4 screws.

Connect the focus and zoom cables.

3-2. TURNING  ON THE  POWER

1.

Connect the power cord and supply the power.

2.

Check that the STANDBY LED of the control panel

lights up in red.

3-3. C BOARD ADJUSTMENTS

3-3-1. SCEN Adjustments

1.

Set the service mode.

2.

Set the factory mode.

3.

Connect the XGA 100IRE all white signal to INPUT-A,

and select INPUT-A.

4.

Connect an oscilloscope to TP5505 of the C board.

5.

Set Device Adjust on the menu, select C-P DRV, and

press ENTER.

6.

Set SCEN using the 

↑

 and 

↓

 keys.

7.

Adjust SIGSEN using the 

←

 and 

→

 keys so that the

100IRE on the inverted side and 100IRE of the non-in-

verted side become symmetrical centering around the

following voltage.

From center voltage to GND = 7V 

± 

0.1V

1.

Set SID OFST using the 

↑

 and 

↓

 keys after completing

3-3-1.

Adjust SID OFST using the

 and 

→

 keys so that the

pedestal level of the non-inverted side becomes the fol-

lowing voltage.

From pedestal to GND=2.5V

 0.05V

Connect the oscilloscope to TP5511.

2.

Set SID LVL using the

 keys and adjust using the

 keys so that SID LVL becomes the following voltage.

Set PRG LVL using the

 keys and adjust using

 keys so that PRG LVL becomes the fol-

lowing voltage.

Remove the probe of the oscilloscope.

Turn off the menu using the STATUS OFF during adjustments

(No shield is required)

Set R VCOM and check the 1 line ON/OFF signal.
