Note
If “DTS” is set to “OFF” in “CUSTOM SETUP,” and
an optical digital cord is not connected, the DTS track
selection option will not appear on the screen even if
the disc contains DTS tracks (page 67).
Sound Mode Settings
Virtual Surround lets you enjoy surround
sound effects by using sound imaging to
create virtual speakers from the sound of the
headphones or front speakers (L: left, R:
right) without using actual speakers.
You can also enjoy more powerful bass
sound by emphasizing the bass-boosted
sound.
Selecting the sound mode directly
While pressing SHIFT, press
NX
repeatedly during playback.
Each time you press the button, the sound
mode changes as follows:
