2-4. Replacing the Power Supply Unit

Be careful not to subject the HDD to shock.
Replacing Parts
Please order the BKMA-PS70 (redundant power supply
unit).
n
The parts inside the power supply unit cannot be replaced.
Be sure to replace the entire power supply unit.
Removal Procedure
1.
Remove the front panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-7.)
2.
Confirm that the indicator of the power supply unit
does not turn on.
3.
Turn off the POWER switch of the power supply unit.
4.
Remove the four screws that fix the power supply unit.
5.
Pull the levers in the direction of the arrow, and
remove the power supply unit by holding the handle.

When the power supply unit is removed for the purpose
other than replacing, be careful not to touch the connector
of the power supply unit to prevent contact defects of the
power supply unit removed.
Installation Procedure
1.
Insert the new power supply unit in the slot complete-
ly.

Be careful not to subject to the HDD of the VSR-
2000A to shock when inserting.
2.
Fix the power supply unit with the four screws.
3.
Attach the front panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-7.)

Fasten the fixing screws of the power supply unit securely.
Otherwise the contact defects of the connector may result
in injury or emitting smoke.
