Connecting Triple Transducer Connect
The Triple Transducer Connect (TTC) is an optional three-transducer module for the MDS Lite II that
allows connection of up to three transducers simultaneously while the ultrasound system is docked.
Print screen Note: Do a test printing before a patient exam to ensure that all connectivity is
correct.
1 Ensure that the cables are correctly installed.
2 Turn on the printer.
3 (Color Printer Only) Change the input setting from S-video to video.
4 Do one of the following:
• Use the controls on the printer for printing images. Follow the
manufacturer’s instructions.
• If the A or B shortcut key is programmed to print, press it.
By default the A shortcut key prints. For instructions to program the A and B
shortcut keys, see the ultrasound system user guide.
You can also save images and print them from the Patient List. For instructions, see
the ultrasound system user guide.
Connect

TTC to system 1 Rotate the system latches outward.
2 Remove any transducer attached to the system.
3 Pull the transducer latch up and rotate 90°.
4 Hold the system at an angle.
5 Align and insert the transducer connector to the connector on the bottom of
the ultrasound system.
6 Turn the latch back 90° and press in, securing the transducer connector to the
ultrasound system.
7 Place the ultrasound system on the system platform, ensuring that the cable is
positioned between the handles of the MDS Lite II.
8 Secure by rotating system latches inward.
