System Tab
The System Tab allows the firmware on the unit to be updated. It also has
op�ons for saving and loading the configura�on se�ngs to and from a local
file.
Update Firmware

The current firmware version on the connected unit is shown. New versions
of firmware will be released as new features are added, and when any bug
fixes are completed. Click on the so�ware downloads link to visit the
Sonifex web page. If an update is available, download the latest file. The file
will have the ‘.SWU’ extension. Click the select bu�on and browse your
computer to locate the new firmware file and then click Update. Once the
file has been successfully uploaded to the unit, the firmware update
process will begin. This takes approximately 1 minute during which �me a
progress page will be shown. Once the update is complete, the device
informa�on page will be shown automa�cally.
Save Configuration To A File

The current configura�on of the connected unit can be saved to a local xml
file by clicking the SAVE CONFIG bu�on. The filename will be “avn_tb_”
followed by the intercom name. It is a good idea to save the configura�on
se�ngs of all units on the network once they have been setup as this
provides a quick and easy way of returning the units to a known working
condi�on.
