Monitor Select
– This drop down list selects the monitor channel to view
and change se�ngs.
Source
– This op�on selects the audio source for the selected monitor
channel. This can be a local audio input or an AoIP stream.
Audio Input
– This op�on selects the local audio input for the selected
monitor channel when the source is set to audio input. This op�on is
unavailable when the source is set AoIP stream.
AoIP Stream
– This se�ng is the name of the AoIP stream that will be
routed to the selected monitor channel when the source is set to AoIP
stream. The stream name is comprised of the AoIP stream name prefix and
the intercom name. For example, if the required AoIP stream, called
“Input1”, is being transmi�ed from an intercom unit with the name “DEMO-
SOURCE”, the AoIP stream name would be “Input1@DEMO-SOURCE”. This
name can be entered manually, or it can be selected from the dynamic list
of available AoIP streams detailed below. This op�on is unavailable when
the source is set to audio input.
Available AoIP Streams
– This dynamic drop down list shows the AoIP
streams that are currently visible on the network. Selec�ng an AoIP stream
from this list places the name into the AoIP stream edit box. This op�on is
unavailable when the source is set to audio input.
Talkback Mode
– This se�ng controls how the audio level of the selected
monitor is modified when an intercom channel is ac�ve. There are 3
op�ons, the level of the monitor is either muted, reduced by 75% or
reduced by 50%.
Bu�on Mode
– Selects the opera�onal mode of the selected monitor
channel bu�on on the front panel. In momentary mode, the monitor
channel is ac�ve whilst the bu�on is pressed. In latching mode, a separate
bu�on press is required to enable and disable the monitor channel. In auto
mode, the bu�on has a momentary ac�on that will automa�cally latch on
or off if pressed briefly. The bu�on can also be disabled if required.
Echo Cancella�on
– This se�ng enables the acous�c echo cancella�on
algorithm which removes audio content, origina�ng from the speaker, from
the microphone input. This prevents a remote user from hearing a delayed
echo of themselves.
Mute Bu�on Mode
– This se�ng selects the opera�onal mode of the
speaker mute bu�on on the front panel. In momentary mode, the speaker
is muted whilst the bu�on is pressed. In latching mode, a separate bu�on
press is required to enable and disable the speaker mute. In auto mode, the
bu�on has a momentary ac�on that will automa�cally latch on or off if
pressed briefly. The bu�on can also be disabled if required with the mute
permanently on or off.
