Insert a 2x1.5V (AAA) battery into the battery compartment on the back of the clock according to the required
polarity.. In case of power cut, the display will not light up, but the clock continues operation and the alarm signal
will sound. When the voltage turns back, the clock will show the correct time. This function is suitable to eliminate
only short power failures, until the battery is depleting. It is recommended to check battery status from time to
time. If the battery is depleted, remove it immediately, since liquid can flow out from it, which may damage the
appliance. Immediately remove any batteries that have been exhausted, as any liquid that may leak from them
may damage the unit. You can use the clock without battery as well, but you have to set the correct time again,
and alarm-time will be deleted as well. Warning! In case of power cut, the accuracy of the clock may decrease
during battery operation!
