able level to make certain that flammable refrigerant does not remain within the lubricant. The evacuation
process shall be carried out prior to returning the compressor to the suppliers. Only electric heating to the
compressor body shall be employed to accelerate this process. When oil is drained from a system, it shall be
carried out safely.
INSTALLATION
- Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting
cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated.
- Keep the appliance on its wheels for one hour before switching it on for the first time.
- If you want to use the drain hose, connect it to the location shown in Figure 1. To do this, pull out the rubber
plug on the back of the device.
- Plug the fully unwound power cord into a standard, ground wall outlet.
- Afterwards the unit is ready for use.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
To ensure optimum operation of the appliance, cleaning may be necessary depending on the degree of con

tamination, but at least once a month.
1. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect it by unplugging the power plug.
2. Clean the air in- (4) and outlet (3) openings using a vacuum cleaner. You can remove the filter at the air inlet
opening, than you can wash it in clean water. (Figure 4.) Only put a dry filter back in the appliance.
3. Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Do not
allow water to enter the inside of the appliance, and the electrical components.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Possible solution
The fan is operating, the compressor is not. Check the operating mode and the set humidity.
The device has stopped operating.
Empty the water tank.
Fit the water tank exactly into its place.
The timer may have switched off the appliance.
The wind noise is loud.
Clean the air filter.
The appliance does not dehumidify properly. Clean the air filter.
The air inlets and outlets must not be covered.
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may con

tain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off
free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and func
-
tion. Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you
will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact
the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as
prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
