Accessory: suction cup holder, cigar lighter connection cable, USB-miniUSB connection cable
Placement, mounting
Slide the holder (20.) into the opening located at the top of the camera (1.). Place the suction cup holder on the windshield of the car, in such a way so you still have clear
view of the road and it does not hinder the driver’s sight. After setting it in the proper position fix the camera by rotating the big screw nut.
Place the device in such a way, so it does not come into contact with other objects. It could be practical to fix it beside/behind the middle rear-view mirror. The suction cup
and the windshield needs to be cleaned before mounting the camera. Only use soap and water! In extreme heat or cold remove the suction cup often from the windshield,
or it can lose its original attributes. Before putting it back regularly clean it! Do not leave the holder or the device at their place in the parking car! Especially in direct sunlight
or strong frost remove it and place it in the glove compartment or trunk.
Power supply
The device can be operated from the cigar lighter socket of the vehicle, with 12-24 Volt direct current. Only usable with the supplied connection cable! Beside that it can be
connected using the accessory miniUSB cable to the computer, in order to copy the recordings, or to a television for watching the recordings. Depending on the television
the connection can be made with HDMI or Ø2,5 mm AV connectors, while the power supply can be provided by the televisions USB socket. If the television does not have
an USB port, then an external USB adapter can be used (e.g.: 1000USB, SA 2100USB). The AV connector which transmits image and sound is not included, it needs to be
chosen and acquired based on the television, and personal needs.
The inbuilt Li-Po battery is not for operating the camera, it is to equalize for the occasional voltage fluctuation when starting, or stopping the engine, thereby protecting the
camera from malfunctioning. When the lifetime of the device has ended, the battery can be removed, by a specialist, by dismantling the device, and it must be handled as
hazardous waste. If liquid is leaking out of it, then wear a protective glove, and clean it with a dry cloth! It is forbidden to open the battery, to throw it into fire, or to short circuit
it! It is forbidden to charge non rechargabel batteries! Explosion hazard!
Placing in the memory card
Turn off the device (12.) and place in the (11.)
microSD/SDHC/TF
Class 6+ memory card. Do not force it, it can only slide in in one position! The contacts need to face
forward!
It is not recommended to use memory card bigger than 32 GB. Aside from the playable AVI and JPEG files do not store other files on the
microSD/SDHC/TF
device,
because that can hinder its operation. Only use quality memory. Even these do not work always well, depending on their type or condition. Their operation is not always
guaranteed, which does not mean that the device is malfunctioning.
Warning!
The manufacturer does not take responsibility for lost and corrupted data etc., not even when the data loss or corruption occurred while using the product. It is
recommended to do a safety save from the files on the connected storage unit on the computer.
Automatic recording when turning on
In the case of a lot of cars the cigar lighter becomes voltage free, when the ignition key is removed. In this case the recording automatically starts, if we put in and turn the
vehicles ignition key, and it turns off if we stop the vehicle.
If the jack of the vehicle will not turn voltage free after removing the ignition key, the recording will continue. The driver needs to connect (at this time the recording starts)
and remove the charging cable from the cigar lighter socket, or with the (12.)
ON/OFF
button turn it on, or with the
OK
(15.) button start/stop the recording. Starting the
device always means that the recording will also start with it, and will start even when providing power supply. If the movement detection is activated in the menu, the
recording can also start due to movement.
The length of the recording that can be recorded on any given memory card is depending on the chosen resolution (“Size”). Approximately 1 minute of FULL HD recording
requires ≈150 MB storage space (60 min. FHD: ≈9 GB). By lowering the resolution, the recording time grows significantly. When choosing the continuous recording mode,
the recording continues even when the memory card is full. The device will start to delete the oldest recordings according to the set cycle (e.g. 5 min.). To full turn off the
device, remove the USB cable and turn the device off with button (12.).
