• If possible, use soldering tin filled with resin! • The soldering tip must be cleaned from the
accumulated contamination regularly. • It is not recommended to use any other soldering
material beside/instead of soldering resin, because those are often acidic (soldering paste,
soldering oil…). If you do use any of these, make sure to remove the remnants when finished
soldering. • The melting point of different soldering irons can vary significantly, this can increase
soldering time. • When taking a break during soldering, or when finished, make sure there are
no flammable materials near the device! • During use, and after it avoid touching the soldering
tip, only hold the grip! • If possible do not hold the work piece in your hand, rather place it in a
grip, or on a sub-frame! • Keep in mind that overheating can also damage the soldered parts or
connectors! • Only work in a room with good ventilation, and do not breathe in the poisonous
fumes created during soldering! • After use do not leave the still hot soldering iron unattended!
• Always let the soldering iron cool down naturally by itself! • The power cord must not come in
contact with the hot metal parts! • Protect the gun from direct heat, water, humidity and dust! •
Only use indoors, under dry circumstances!
