OPERATION
- The scale can be operated with two AAA (1.5 V) batteries (not included).
- Insert the batteries in the battery compartment on the back of the scale. After switching the
scale on, choose the desired measuring unit to be displayed, with the help of the button situat
-
ed next to the „UNIT” label at the bottom of the scale: kg (kilogram)-lb(font)-st: lb(stone: font) .
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
Use a soft, moistened cloth for cleaning the scale, then wipe it dry. Never immerse the scale to
water, or rinse under running water. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners.
ERROR MESSAGES
- Indication “
EEEE
” on the display means, that the carrying capacity of the scale has been
exceeded.
- The “
Err
” symbol displaying indicates an error during the measurement of body fat or body
water.
- In case of “
Lo
” symbol is displayed, the battery has to be replaced in the device.
Open the cover of the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale and replace the battery
(type: AAA), then put back the cover of the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity by
replacing the battery!
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste
because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste
equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which
sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing
in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well
as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste
management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer
as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
DISPOSING OF ALKALINEAND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular
household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a
nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately
neutralized in an environment-friendly way.
