Observations
Possible causes
Solutions
The roller shutter is not
operational.
The io control point battery is low.
Check whether the battery is weak and
replace it if necessary.
The control point is not compatible.
Check for compatibility and replace the
control point if necessary.
The io control point used has not been
programmed into the motor.
Use a programmed control point or
program this control point.
The Oximo 50 S Auto
io motor turns in one
direction only.
The Oximo 50 S Auto io motor is too
close to its end limit positions or to the
last obstacle encountered.
Press the Up or Down buttons on the
control point to unlock the Oximo 50 S
Auto io motor.
The favourite position
has shifted from the
original setting.
The roller shutter is not closed or opened
completely.
Open and close the roller shutter
completely.
The Oximo 50 S Auto io
is attached to the wrong
side of the roller shutter.
The installation of the Oximo 50 S Auto
io motor does not meet requirements for
the site.
Fit the Oximo 50 S Auto io motor on the
other side of the roller tube, restore the
Oximo 50 S Auto io motor to its original
settings and start complete Oximo 50 S
Auto io motor installation again as set
out in chapter “
Installation
”.

9.3. Restoring the original configuration
Any modification to the installation (removing the connections or bolts, removing the Tubular S
Module from the roller tube, etc.) requires the original Oximo 50 S Auto io motor settings to be
restored and complete installation of the Oximo 50 S Auto io motor to be carried out again as set
out in chapter “
Installation
”.
This reset deletes all control points, all the sensors and all the end limit settings, and resets the
motor’s direction of rotation and favourite position (my).
Only switch off the power for the motor to be reset.
Put the roller shutter in the middle position (if
possible).
1) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
2) Switch the power supply back on for 5 to 15 seconds.
3) Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
4) Switch the power supply back on: the roller shutter moves
for several seconds.
If the roller shutter is at the upper or lower end limit, it
will move briefly.
5) Press and hold the PROG button on one of the Somfy
io local control points: the roller shutter will make an
initial movement, and repeat it a few moments later. The
original motor configuration has been restored.
