3.3 Installation recommendations
Note: The Heating Modulis RTS Ramp must be installed in a location sheltered from bad weather,
and out of the reach of children.
Never install the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp near any metal surfaces as this may reduce the
-
radio range.
Do not install the equipment close to any flammable objects, such as curtains, etc.

If the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp is placed under an awning, ensure that the fabric of the awning
-
is at the recommended distance from the heater when the awning is both open and closed.
Check the radio range before fitting the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp .

The radio range may be limited by radio appliance control standards.

If the equipment is installed outdoors, ensure that the opening of the heater panel with its protec-
-
tive grille is not facing upwards.
Do not touch the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp while it is on and while it is cooling down.

3.4 Safety distances
Caution! Avoid installing the equipment close to plug sockets, distribu-
tion units, electrical lines or switches.
• Minimum distance (Y) between a Heating Modulis RTS Ramp and a
radio control point:
Y = 30 cm
Minimum distance (Z) between two Heating Modulis RTS Ramps:

Z = 20 cm.

3.5 Installing the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp
Caution! IR halogen lamps are sensitive to substances which contain
sodium. Avoid direct contact with the skin (e.g. do not touch) as this
risks reducing the service life of the heating tube.
Caution! Before installing the Heating Modulis RTS Ramp, ensure that
the safety distances detailed in the "Safety distances" section have
been followed.
Caution: The Heating Modulis RTS Ramp has 3 grooves on the back
enabling it to be positioned in 3 different ways.
Note: The pivoting joints (c) can be used to further incline the Heating
Modulis RTS Ramp by a maximum of 90°.
