SECTION 3: SETTINGS MENU REFERENCE
3.1 Devices menu
The Devices menu enables you to add and delete devices to the system, and display and export summary reports of those devices.
The devices added to the system are listed under the IPCorder heading in the left frame.
Devices can also be grouped under a heading and listed in a tree structure.
3.1.1 Add devices
Devices can be added to the system in two ways: using
Discover
(automated method), and
Manually
. For a description of adding
devices to the system refer to “2.5 Adding cameras to the system” on page 18.
3.1.2 Delete devices
Devices can also be deleted by displaying the device in either the Network grid or Authentication grid, selecting the device, then
clicking Delete.
3.1.3 Device Status list
The Device Status list displays the current recording metrics for the device.
In the Device Status list, you can click the entry in the address field to open the web page for the device in your default browser. If
you use this feature, ensure that your default browser is compatible with the device.
