System Management 

6.1

 

Upgrading Firmware 

6.1.1  Firmware 

Firmware is a type of software for operation of CSW-M85. If there are needs for adding 

functions or fixing bugs, the firmware can be modified and released. That is why we always 
recommend using the latest firmware. 

6.1.2  Processes 

 

Downloading the latest firmware 
Download  the  latest  firmware  file.  We  upload  it  on  our  homepage  if  a  new  one  is 
released. 

 

Connecting the serial ports 
Connect serial port of CSW-M85 to the PC’s COM port with RS232 cross cable. 

 

Run the program for sending the F/W file 
Run the program on the ezManager, by clicking the [Change F/W / HTML] button.

①  Press the [Open] button after selecting the COM port. 
②  Click the [Advanced Menu] check box. 
③  Press the [Change F/W / HTML] button to run the program. 
④  Check the [Change Firmware] radio button. 
⑤  Press the [Open Firmware / HTML] button and choose the firmware file.
