customer service).
3. Care and maintenance
Please refer to the original user‘s manual, page 17 onwards.
4. Adjusting the “decalcify appliance“ control indicator
7 – 8 dH / 125 – 145 ppm, is the ideal water hardness level for good coffee.
If you use a water softening unit there is no need to decalcify the appliance after 1,500
cups of coffee. The SOLIS MASTER TOP is fitted with a control System which allows you
to adjust the reminder (control indicator flashes) to decalcify the appliance in line with
water hardness. (The hardness of the water can be checked using the test strips enclosed
in the connection set).
Procedure:
•
Switch appliance to stand-by mode.
•
Press the programming switch (7) and the decalcifying switch (6) simultaneously.
•
Press the operating switch (1) at the same time.
•
The appliance is now in programming mode.
•
Program the setting for your water hardness using the quantity se/- (5).
•
Store this setting with the programming switch (7).
