RINSING THE MACHINE
We recommend letting the fully filled water tank run through the appliance to rinse
its inside once before using the appliance for the first time. This is done without
coffee powder.
Once the machine has reached standby mode (button surrounds by
POWER

and
light up constantly), carry out the following three steps:
1. Press the
button and let water run through the brewing group.
2. Set the
HOT WATER
dial (
B
) to
OPEN
and let hot water run through the hot
water outlet (
M
) for 30 seconds. Then turn the dial back to
CLOSED
.
3. Set the
STEAM
lever (
L
) to
OPEN
and let steam escape through the steam wand
(
N
) for 10 seconds. Set the steam lever back to the
CLOSED
position. Always
make sure that the steam wand is pointed towards the drip tray.
– Repeat these three steps until the water in the water tank is used up.
