When installing panels in a confined space, for example, if installing Building-
integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) panels, ventilation measures may be needed to
ensure the power optimisers are not be exposed to temperatures outside their
specifications.

Step 1: Mounting the Power Optimisers
For each of the power optimisers

1. Determine the power optimiser mounting location and use the power
optimiser mounting brackets to attach the power optimiser to the
support structure . It is recommended to mount the power optimiser
in a location protected from direct sunlight. For frame-mounted
power optimisers follow the instructions supplied with the optimisers,

2. If required, mark the mounting hole locations and drill the hole.
