7.3 Temperature specification
Please always make sure, that the battery is not exposed to higher or lower temperature as listed below:
Temperature during usage
When charging battery
0 C° to 45 C°
When discharging battery
-20 C° to 55 C°
Temperature during storage Less than 3 months
10 C° to 40 C°
Less than 1 year
15 C° to 25 C°
If you only use your Lou Board rarely, we nevertheless recommend to fully charge the battery once a month, to guarantee
the durability of the battery and prevent damages.
7.4 Maintenance
Recharge the Lou Board at least once a month, to ensure the performance of the battery.
The board, especially the battery, is sensitive to heat and cold. Do not expose the device to strong heat or cold.
Storage at room temperature is optimal.
It is recommended to replace the wheel, as soon as it is worn down by more than 2 mm.
Ball bearings: The ball bearings can be damaged through vibrations/shocks. Furthermore, the ball bearings can
begin to rust, when driving in moist conditions. Should a ball bearing make unusual noises or become slower, we
recommend replacing it.
Damping: After a long time of usage, the damping system may need replacement parts. Furthermore, after some
time, the steering can produce noises. In this case, we recommend that you contact our service department for
replacement parts.

Motor: If the motor generates unusual noises or you should notice differences concerning the motor performance,
