5.2 Start inverter
Step 1
Turn on DC switch.
5.1 Safety inspection before commissioning
Attention
Ensure that DC and AC voltages are within the range permitted by the
inverter.
Step 2
Turn on AC switch
.
When the solar arrays generate adequate power, the inverter will startup automatically.
Display showing “normal” indicates correct operation.
If the inverter indicates any other fault, please refer to part 7——error messages for help.

Flashing: Fans fault
ON: The inverter is faulty
OFF: Normal operation

GFCI Warning Light (RED)
Connection to the AC grid:
Check whether the circuit breaker connected to the AC grid is in the OFF state,
check whether the type of the AC grid is correct (TN-C, TN-S OR TT).
And check the wiring connections of PE, N, L1®, L2(S), L3(T) are correct.
Connection of DC input:
Check whether the DC switch of the inverter is in the OFF state,
the DC voltage of each PV string connected to the same MPPT shall be the same.
The maximum DC voltage (corrected according to the lowest operating temperature)
shall be less than 960V.
Please check the polarity of each PV string. If one the PV strings is connected
incorrectly,
this can damage SOFAR solar inverter.Please make sure that all PV strings are firmly
connected to the DC inputs of solar inverter.
Please test the leakage current of each PV string to ground using a megger.
The insulation resistance of each PV string to ground shall be higher than 300kΩ ,
or this can damage SOFAR solar inverter.
