1.1 - General Safety instructions

 

● Warning: LPG is highly flammable.

 

● The tank contains pressurised gas, and may 

explode if heated.

 

● Keep the tank away from flames.

 

● Store go-karts in a ventilated location.

 

● Keep the tank out of the reach of children. 

 

● LPG is heavier than air and if it leaks out, it spreads 

at floor level in the absence of ventilation.

 

● Warning: risk of gas intoxication. Anaesthetic or 

asphyxiating effect.

 

● Use only LPG to fill the tank. Any other gas could 

cause a serious accident.

1.2 - instructions in the event of an 

emergency, leak, or intoxication

 

● In the event of a gas leak, thoroughly ventilate the 

room concerned.

 

● Take any victims out into the fresh air.

 

● Close the valve on the tank or storage cylinder.

 

● Eliminate any possible ignition sources (flame, heat, 

electricity).

1.3 - in the event of liquid gas coming into 

contact with skin or eyes

 

● Wash for 15 minutes with plenty of water.

 

● Transport the patient to a treatment centre.

1.4 - fire fighting

 

● Use powder, CO2, or water spray.

 

● Do not use a jet of water.

 

● Final extinguishing must be performed using the 

shutoff valve.

2 - Standards/Certifications

 

● The tank complies with Directives 2010/35/EU 

(TPED), 2008/68/EC (Appendix 1), 2010/61/EU 

(Appendix 1) and ADR 2011. It was checked in 

accordance with ADR/R67.

 

● The steam relief valve is UL-certified. (Refer to 

document ITPV.AU1502).

allow, without delay, to know the last safety 

and maintenance improvements.
