Remove the cotter pin from the chute control head (Fig. 3).

Slide chute crank through the opening in the chute crank
retainer and insert it into the chute control head on the
side of the housing (Fig. 4).

Align the holes in the chute control head with the holes in
the chute crank, and secure the chute crank in place by
inserting the cotter pin (Fig. 5).
Discharge Chute Assembly
1.
Place the discharge chute assembly onto the gear plate,
aligning the 4 holes in the gear plate, and push down until
the chute is flush and flat against the housing (Fig. 6).
2.
Using the 2 U-bolts and 4 nuts, secure the discharge
chute assembly to the gear plate (Fig. 7).
NOTE:
You may need to rotate the chute crank to access
some portion of the U-bolt assembly.
3.
Loosen the chute deflector knob on each side, raise or
lower the chute deflector to the desired height of the snow
stream and tighten the knobs (Fig. 8).
NOTE:
Do not overtighten the knob.
