5. Gauges

Engine Oil
Engine oil level is measured with a dipstick which is
combined with the oil filler cap.
The oil dip stick is the only way to ac cu rately gauge
if the en gine oil level is cor rect.
En gine oil level should al ways be be tween the lines
on the dip stick - never above the top line or be low
the bot tom line.

Hydraulic Oil Level

The hydraulic-oil level is measured by means of a
dipstick attached to the filler cap. The hydraulic oil
level should be measured with the booms fully
lowered. The hydraulic oil level should be between
the two marks on the dipstick.
The hydraulic oil tank is mounted at the rear of the
plinth.
If necessary add hydraulic oil at the filler cap.

Bubble Level

A bub ble level should be lo cated on the edge of the
truck deck. Watch the bub ble level while you set
the sta bi lis ers man u ally. Lower the sta bi lis ers, one
at a time, just enough to cen ter the bub ble in the cir -
cle on top of the gauge. When the bub ble is cen -
tered the plat form is level and can safely be raised.
