54) Fill the holes with concrete to the required level, taking into account any Impact Absorbing Surfacing
requirements. Ensure that a full volume of concrete is used. The top of the concrete should gradually (1:100)
slope down & outwards locally from the equipment upstand to the required level to form a watershed.
Concrete mix is recommended at:
1 part cement;
2 parts sand;
4 parts aggregate;
by volume with 20mm aggregate
(20 N/mm
2
min. compressive strength)
55) Keep installation off limits to the public until the concrete has completely cured. (Recommended initial curing
time is 48 hours).
STEP 22
56) Connect the Climbing Net (item 36) to the Rope Net Mounting Bracket (item 16), the Climb Rope Tether
(item 17) and the Rope Support Leg (item 4) using 8 off Coupling Links (item 49).
STEP 23
57) Connect the Climbing Net (item 36) to the Ground Fixing Chains (item 41) previously cemented into the
ground using 2 off Coupling Link (item 49). Tension the Climbing Net by removing all excess links before
connecting.
STEP 23
58) Position flat end of Climb Wall (item 27) tightly under Deck and working from the same end attach the Climb
Wall to the Climb Wall Frame (item 8) using 12 off M10 x 35 Resistorx bolts (item 52) and M10 Washers
(item 58).
STEP 24
59) Assemble Platforms (item 25) to Platform Mounting Frames using 6 off M10 x 35 Resistorx bolts (item 52) and
M10 washers (item 58).
STEP 25
60) Attach in 2 places 1 off Panel Fixing Rail (item 13) and 1 off Fixing Rail - Dashboard (item 15) to the Clamp
Rings (half). Each end of the fixing rails is held between a Bar Socket Top (item 48) and a Bar Socket Bottom
(item 47) using 2 1/4” unc x 5/8” off BHCS Fixings (item 66) and should be fixed with the plastic panel fixing
inserts on the outside of the structure.
STEP 26
i)
For assembly method see Note 4.1, 3), i) to v).
61) Assemble Seat (item 26) into position as shown on the Seat Mounting Frame using 6 off M10 x 35 Resistorx
bolts (item 52) and M10 Washers (item 58).
STEP 27
62) Assemble Aperture Panel (item 32) and Dashboard Panel Assembly (item 33) in position as shown on the
Panel Fixing Rails using 16 off M10 x 40 Resistorx bolts (item 51) and Washers (item 58).
STEP 27
63) Assemble the Double Sided Entry Panel Assembly (item 31) in position as shown on the Panel Fixing Rails
using 9 off M10 x 40 Resistorx bolts (item 51) and Washers (item 58).
STEP 28
NOTE:
The clock dials on this panel should face the lower deck.
64) Assemble the pair of Slide Entry Panels (item 34) in position as shown on the Slide Entry Frame using 10 off
M10 x 40 Resistorx bolts (item 51) and Washers (item 58).
STEP 28
65) Assemble the remaining Entry Panels, Octopus Entry (item 28), Spot The Differance (item 29) and Maze
Entry (item 30) in position as shown on the Panel Fixing Rails using 9 off M10 x 40 Resistorx bolts (item 51)
and M10 Washers (item 58) for each panel. Panels mounted with the game graphic on the inside.
STEP 28
66) Assembly the End Cap Assembly (item 40) to the Vertical Climb Rope (item 39) using 1 off Coupling Link
(item 49).
STEP 29
67) Then attach the End Cap Assemble to the appropriate post end using 3 off M10 x 40 Resistorx bolts (item 51)
and M10 Shockproof washers (item 59). Fully tighten bolts to a torque setting of 20-25Nm.
STEP 29
68) Tension the Vertical Climb Rope (item 39) by connecting to the Ground Fixing Chain (item 41) previously
cemented into the ground using 1 off Coupling Link (item 49). Remove all excess links before connecting.
STEP 29
69) Attach the end cap of the Large Hanging Assembly (item 37) to the appropriate post end using 3 off M10 x 40
Resistorx bolts (item 51) and Shockproof washers (item 59). Position of end cap to be aligned with fixing holes
to enable the lower fixings to line up with the ground fixing chains without having excessive twist in the chains.
Fully tighten bolts to a torque setting of 20-25Nm.
STEP 30
70) Attach the Large Hanging Assembly by connecting the Ground Fixing Chains (item 41) previously cemented
into the ground, to the eyebolts in the lower end caps using 2 off Coupling Link (item 49). Remove sufficient
links before connecting to allow moulding some restricted movement ±45° rotation max.
