ALLUMAGE DU GRIL
●
The LP Gas Cylinder must be a 20 pound cylinder and have a Type 1 Cylinder Valve Outlet
Connector.
●
Handle the Cylinder with care - do not drop it.
●
When you are not using the grill, the LP Gas Cylinder should be dis-
connected.
●
Connect the regulator and hand tighten firmly.
●
Do a leak test each time you connect a LP Gas Cylinder and before
lighting the grill.
●
Never use a match or lit flame to test for leaks.
●
To test, prepare a weak solution of detergent and water. Spray or
swab the solution onto the connection of the regulator to the LP Gas
Cylinder valve, and on all the joints in the hose connections up to the burner valves (which
MUST be closed in the "OFF" position).
●
Open the LP Gas Cylinder valve, and watch for any bubbles to appear at all the connection
points. No bubbles indicate - All Clear!
●
If there are any bubbles, there is a leak which must be fixed.
●
Never obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air.
Connecting the LP gas cylinder to the grill
Lighting the grill
●
Always open the Lid before lighting the grill.
●
All burner knobs should be in the "OFF" position.
●
Slowly Open the LP Gas Cylinder valve,1-1 1/2 turns
●
Push the gas knobs in fully, and slowly turn counter-clockwise
(to the left) to the "LIGHT" position.
●
Then press and hold the black button of the igniter, there will be clicking and sparking until
the burner is lit.
●
You can then adjust the knob to your desired setting.
●
If the burner did not light, turn the knob back to the “OFF” position, wait 5 minutes for any gas
to clear away, and then repeat the lighting procedure.
●
For Sear Burner, turn the knob counter-clockwise (to the left) and then PUSH the Black Ig-
niter Button to light the burner. If the burner does not light ,then turn the knob to the “OFF”
position, wait 5 minutes and then try again.
●
After using the grill, turn all burner knobs to the
"HIGH" position and then push fully in and turn to the
"OFF" position.
●
At once turn the valve on the LP Gas Cylinder OFF.
●
IF the igniter does NOT light the burner, you can light it
with a match or a piece of burning paper - hold the match
or paper with the Match Holder attached at the back of the
grill, put it through the openings in the Cooking Grid and
next to the Flame Tent covering the burner. Then follow the lighting procedure above.
●
Observe the proper burner flame - it should be a blue/yellow color about 1/2” long.
Sear Burner Operation
●
ALWAYS be sure to OPEN the Lid before lighting the Sear Burner and leave open during
use. Leave Sear Burner open until it is completely cool.
●
Preheat the Burner for 5 minutes
●
Sear one side of the food, turn the food over and sear the other side. Then continue cooking
each side of the food on the standard burners until done to your satisfaction

Observez la flamme du brûleur.
Elle devrait être d’une couleur bleue/jaune et d’une
hauteur d’environ 1/2 po.
PROBLÈME
SOLUTION
Le brûleur ne s’allume pas.
Vérifiez si la bouteille de propane est vide.
Vérifiez le fil d’allumage. Y a-t-il une étincelle?
Vérifiez si le brûleur est obstrué par des toiles d’araignée ou des nids
d’insectes.
La flamme est jaune, elle devrait être bleue.
Vérifiez si le brûleur est obstrué par des toiles d’araignée ou des nids
d’insectes.
Fermez le couvercle et laissez le gril fonctionner à HIGH (ÉLEVÉ) pour
brûler les résidus présents sur le brûleur.
Il y a des poussées de flamme.
La température de cuisson est trop élevée.
Les aliments que vous faites cuire sont trop gras.
De la graisse s’est accumulée dans le gril. Nettoyez-la et brûlez-la.

DÉPANNAGE DU GRIL AU GAZ

Allumage des brûleurs principaux :
1. Ouvrez le couvercle pendant l’allumage.
2. Assurez-vous que tous les boutons de réglage sont sur la position OFF (ARRÊT).
3. Sélectionnez le brûleur à allumer. Enfoncez le bouton de réglage et tournez-le sur la position HIGH
(ÉLEVÉ), puis appuyez sur l’allumeur pour allumer le brûleur.
Remarque : Il peut s’avérer nécessaire de
recommencer l’étape 2 à 2 ou 3 reprises pour que le gril s’allume.
4. Si le gril ne s’allume pas dans les 5 secondes, tournez le bouton de réglage sur la position OFF (ARRÊT),
attendez 5 minutes pour permettre au gaz de se dissiper, puis recommencez la procédure d’allumage.
Pour allumer le brûleur latéral :
Vérifiez si la tige d’allumage est correctement espacée et alignée sur le
brûleur. La tige d’allumage devrait se trouver à environ 1/4 po du
brûleur et être alignée sur le haut du port d’un brûleur. Confirmez si
l’espacement est correct en appuyant sur le bouton d’allumage et en vous
assurant qu’une étincelle se produit entre la tige d’allumage et le brûleur,
puis suivez les étapes 3 et 4 ci-dessus.
Pour éteindre le gril :
1. Fermez le robinet de la bouteille.
2. Tournez tous les boutons de contrôle des brûleurs sur la position OFF (ARRÊT).
Remarque : Fermez d’abord la bouteille de propane pour empêcher qu’il reste du gaz sous pression dans
le système.
ATTENTION : Le robinet de la bouteille devrait toujours être sur la position OFF (ARRÊT) ou fermée
lorsque le gril n’est pas utilisé.
