CHARGING

CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERIES

The Electric Fish Handling
Gloves

tm

 control box is

powered by recharge-
able high-efficiency, size
AA  nickel–metal hydride
(NiMH) batteries.  When
depleted, they must  be
removed and charged
in the supplied battery
charger.

To charge the batteries,
remove the batteries from
the unit and place in the
charger, following the
steps in the supplied char-
ger’s instructions.

When removing or replacing batteries, take care not to intro-
duce water into the battery compartment

When charging is complete, place the batteries back in the
control unit in the proper configuration.

If storing the Electric

Fish Handling Gloves

tm

for an extended period of time, remove

the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place and recharge
before using.

•  Only use a charger approved for charging AA NiMH batteries.

•  Do not leave the batteries charging in the charger for more

than 12 hours.

•  Recharge the batteries every three months, regardless of use.

•  Store the Control Box in a climate controlled environment

when not in use.

Standard rechargeable batteries and even disposable AA batter-
ies can be used, but their performance for this application would
be greatly diminished.
