CONTROL BOX
Conductive Fish Handling Gloves are
worn over insulating gloves (top), Control
box is worn on the adjustable chest
harness (middle) or a belt (bottom).
The equipment consists of
the control box (A), a pair of
conductive fish handling gloves
(B), a pair of rubber insulating
gloves (C), a wire lead as-
sembly (D), a carry case (not
shown), arm bands (E), an ad-
justable chest harness (F), and
the user’s manual and battery
charger (also not shown).
The lightweight, water resistant
control box can be worn on the
chest harness (or alternately,
clipped on a belt) and contains
rechargeable batteries, making
the device fully portable.
Two sets of gloves must be
worn when operating the Elec-
tric Fish Handling Gloves
tm
Sys-
tem. The pair of rubber Insulat-
ing Gloves protects the handler
from the electric current, and
is worn under the pair of Fish
Handling Gloves. The conduc-
tive Fish Handling Gloves are
worn over the rubber gloves
and are connected to the Con-
trol Box with the snaps on the
Wire Leads. One glove acts as
the negative electrode (cath-
ode) and the other is the pos-
itive electrode (anode). Once
turned on, the circuit is com-
pleted when a conductive item
(fish) is contacted by each of
the fish handling gloves simul-
taneously.
