Changing the Administration User Name and Password of Devices
To change the administration user name and password settings of every
selected device, carry out the Change Password command.
If the Device Password List functionality is disabled, the
Changing User
Name
and
Password
dialog box will appear asking you to enter the
Current
admin. user name, Current admin. password, New user name
, and
New
password.

The
User type
option is for future models that have different users with different
access rights. (SMC2582W-B and SMC2586W-G don’t support multiple
administration user name/password pairs.)
If the Device Password List functionality is disabled,
