5.8 Configuring HDD Group for Recording
Purpose:
You can group the HDDs and save record files on certain HDD group.
Steps:
1. Enter HDD setting interface.
Menu > HDD > General

2. Click the Advanced tab on the left-side.
Check whether the storage mode of the HDD is Group. If not, set it to Group. For details, see Chapter 10.3

3. Click the General tab on the left-side and click the icon to enter the Local HDD Settings interface.

4. Configure the HDD group.
1) Select a group number for the HDD.
2) Click Apply , and then click Yes to confirm the settings in the pop-up dialog box.
3) Click OK to exit.
5. Repeat the above steps 3-4 to configure the group settings for more HDDs.
6. Select the channels of which you want to save the record files in the HDD group.
